I /may/ try and swing seeing it again, but the timing is sucky. And yeah, this review is kinda sucky. Sorry, real life and lack of motivation got in the way… but I needed to get it out before I go for shinko tomorrow. Because that’s the next thing I’m going to be writing up.
Okay, so aside from the aesthetics, I went into this show thinking that it was going to be a one off for me. I was going to wait in line, hot and sweaty on a Friday morning to see the first show just to say that I had… then never see it again. Space wars are really only in my thing in really well written science fiction. I didn’t think an adaptation on the stage would really hold my attention. Whoa, was I surprised.
First, yes. I went to shonichi, largely just because I had taken the day off to meet up with a friend but their plans changed… so I had nothing else to do. Sit in my apartment and re-watch Sarah Connor Chronicles or go see shonichi? I went with shonichi. I helped that I was awake at the crack of dawn. I had accidently fallen asleep after work which meant that I was up EARLY. I messaged my mom and her response was “WHY ARE YOU AWAKE?! ARE YOU OKAY?! YOU AREN’T IN THE HOSPITAL ARE YOU?!?!?!”. Yeah, that early, so I hopped a train at 6:00 am after doing what felt like a billion loads of laundry. Speaking of which, I miss clothes dryers… do not take them for granted if you have them. They are a blessed, blessed thing. Sorry, getting distracted. ^^;;
First off, the set.

That's right *dusts off shoulders* I actually got around to finishing this... not my best, but it is done. SO THERE.
