( Read more... )Tomu Update
Aug. 28th, 2015 11:48 pmHey guys, just wanted to drop a Tomu update down here before I completely forget. There was a birthday event for her in Tokyo last weekend, which was super fun. But, like most events these days SNS reports are a no-go. HOWEVER, she dropped some news about two hours before it went mainstream media, so now it's fair game.
Tomu is releasing a CD titled 『Le Ange(ル・アンジュ)』. Which is a play off her name, being as she chose Ranju, because it sounded close to angel in French. It features 12 songs and will be available in both CD and CD/DVD formats. It's a mix of covers of Japanese songs, and some originals.
Here is a wonderful promo image:

and a lovely video:
I'll be offering to order for friends once I get my club order forms <3
((Side note to those interested: I'm almost 90 percent sure that the photographer is Leslie Kee))

Dear god. This show was fantastic. It was really just so well done. Tomu was fantastic, J-Pop boy was good, the other (apparently super famous) dudes were also great. The video was so well done, as was the LED usage. Tomu literally kicked ass... All while wearing a killer dress and throwing out snappy comebacks.
Closing night was so amazing... And ended in one actor laughingly apologizing to the Takarazuka fans.
I'm gonna write some proper thoughts up later. But right now I'm going to crash, because two nights of chilling at various izakayas with my Tomu Crew have killed my body and I'm gonna need all the help I can get to survive this week.
IFI千秋楽おめでとう〜!

Today marks the last show of Tomu's first OG career. Congratulations to her and the wonderful cast. I saw both A Pattern and B pattern and adored them. I think I enjoyed A pattern more, which I will explain why in another post. It mostly has to do with casting.
They are pushing for the support to make IFI2, so if anyone with an endless amount of money would like to help back this, please raise your hand. There were also Very Important People in the audience today, which bodes well for the future.
Oh, and while my club has been merged with Tokyo club to form OG club, we still keep our kansai staff for kansai. Making the only change that my daihyou is now sub-daihyou. Let's face it, she was too cool to carry bags anyway. Now she just manages. Today Angelina-Jolie staff San dresses up as Kento Mori. T of course lost her shit everytime she put more letters in her bag. That woman is a national Japanese treasure and needs to be treated as such.
I've missed my club so much. So much. They are a warm fuzzy blanket I want to wrap myself up in.
edit+ sorry about the stupid image size. Uploaded it on my phone so it apparently went full-size. my apologies.
